Workshop Overview

This comprehensive project enhances the skills of newly appointed campus network personnel across nine Asi@Connect member countries through a carefully designed blended-mode workshop focusing on campus network design and operation.

Our initiative ensures improved network management, operational efficiency, and optimal utilization of research and education networks through targeted, practical training and enhanced regional collaboration among NREN engineers.

Blended Training Format

Our innovative workshop combines onsite and virtual participation to maximize reach and engagement while providing hands-on training in campus network design and operation.

40 remote participants join via BdREN Zoom platform for real-time access to all training sessions.

Lead Institution

Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) in Bangladesh serves as the lead institution, hosting this transformative workshop through its ICT Cell in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology and the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering.

PSTU provides comprehensive facilities including campus network infrastructure for practical demonstrations, technical expertise, and coordination with BdREN for seamless connectivity and platform support.
